Locally owned and locally grown—because grocery store tomatoes just can’t compete. The Logan County Farmers Market returns June 21 at the Sterling Bomgaars parking lot (102 N 12th Ave), and it’s bringing all the juicy, leafy, home-baked goodness your summer dreams are made of.

Kick off Father’s Day weekend with one of Sterling’s most thrilling summer traditions—the High Plains Truck & Tractor Pull! Happening Saturday, June 14, 2025, starting at 6 PM at the Logan County Fairgrounds, this high-powered event features roaring engines, competitive pulls, and family-friendly fun. Hosted by NJC Young Farmers and sanctioned by NSPA, it’s the perfect evening for gearheads and casual fans alike. Come early to check out the Collectible Show by Cody Legg, running from 10 AM to 6 PM, featuring sports cards, collectibles, coins, and toys! Don’t miss this horsepower-fueled hometown favorite!
