The Sterling Fire Department will be hosting a memorial ceremony to honor the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The community is invited to join us as we remember all those we lost. The ceremony will take place on September 11 at the Logan County Courthouse at 7:30 am. In addition, Logan County employees will be placing 2,977 flags on the Courthouse lawn in memory of those killed in the 9/11 attacks to accompany the observance on Saturday. Those who wish to attend the ceremony are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
